What is it?

The Orders page is where you'll find every order placed through your guidebook (upsells, services, room orders, and more).

💡 Good to know If you manage several guidebooks, you'll also find an orders page in your organization's home page, gathering all the orders from all your guidebooks in one place.

How to use it

For each order, you'll see:

  • The guidebook name (in the global orders view)

  • The guest's name

  • The order summary

Click on an order to expand it and see all the details: items ordered, total price, payment status, and more.

Actions available on each order

  • Collect payment (if you haven't connected Stripe Connect, payments aren't automatic)

  • Archive the order once it's been processed

  • Click the three dots to:

    • Send a message to the guest

    • Delete the order (in case of an error)

Search, sort, and view

  • Use the search bar to quickly find a specific order

  • Sort orders by status or by date

  • Switch to the calendar view to get a clearer overview and plan ahead

Order settings

Click the settings icon at the top right to configure your orders:

  • Service fees: apply a service fee to each order

  • Instant orders: enable or disable instant ordering

  • Scheduled orders: enable or disable scheduled ordering

Going further

💳 Connect Stripe to collect payments

To automatically collect payments on every order, you need to connect your Stripe account. [See the full tutorial on how to connect Stripe →]

✅❌ Enable orders with manual approval

You can also set certain modules so that orders require manual approval before being confirmed.

Here's how it works:

  • The guest places a request

  • Your staff sees an Accept or Refuse button

  • If refused, the order is automatically refunded

  • If accepted, the payment goes through and you can process the order

This is ideal for services with limited availability (late check-out, transfers, private experiences, etc.). [See the full tutorial on orders with manual approval →]

Tips & good to know

  • Use the calendar view to anticipate busy days and prepare your team accordingly.

  • Pair manual approval with services that depend on availability to avoid overbooking.

  • Connecting Stripe is the easiest way to fully automate your revenue flow, with no commission taken by Sunver.
