What is the Modules page?

Understand how modules work and how they structure your guidebook.

The Modules page is the core of your Sunver guidebook!

This is where you create, organize, and manage all the content your guests will see and interact with in their digital guidebook.

If something appears in the guidebook, it comes from a module.

How the Modules page works

The Modules page is organized around categories and modules.

Categories

Categories help structure your content and make navigation clear for guests.

  • You can create as many categories as you want

  • Categories can be renamed, reordered, or deleted at any time

  • Categories are ordered using drag and drop from the left side

Each category represents a section of your guidebook, such as:

  • Practical information

  • Services

  • Surroundings

  • Food & drinks

Modules

Inside each category, you add modules.

  • You can add multiple modules per category

  • For best readability, we recommend 5 to 10 modules maximum per category

  • Modules can also be reordered using drag and drop

What is a module?

A module is a content block made of:

  • a title

  • an optional subtitle

  • a description

  • an image

  • one or more actions (optional)

Modules are intentionally flexible, so you can share any type of information or service, without constraints.

Creating a module

To create a module, simply click Create a module.

You can:

  • start from a template

  • or create a module from scratch

Sunver provides ready-made templates adapted to the hospitality industry, but you are free to create fully custom modules for your own use cases.

Adding images to a module

You can add an image in several ways:

  • upload your own image

  • select one from the free built-in image library (Pixabay)

  • use an image URL

  • choose an image already uploaded in your property gallery

Module settings and content

For each module, you can configure:

  • the module name

  • its visibility

  • the module type

  • subtitle and description

💡 In the bottom-right corner, the AI assistant can help you write or improve your content.

Making modules interactive with actions

At the top of the module, the Action section lets you make the module interactive.

You can:

  • define a call-to-action button text

  • request a quantity

  • request a comment

  • enable payments

Payments

  • Set a price directly in the module

  • If Stripe is connected, payments are processed normally (see the guide to set up Stripe)

  • If Stripe is not connected, users are redirected to a Stripe payment page

  • You can also use an external payment provider

You can also add additional information that will be displayed automatically in the user’s payment confirmation email. (see the tutorial)

Available module types

In addition to the standard module, Sunver offers several module types:

  • External link
Redirects guests to a website when they click the module

  • Fullscreen image
Opens an image in fullscreen on the guest’s device

  • PDF file
Opens a PDF file (spa menu, house rules, maps, etc.)

  • Social networks
Displays social content such as Instagram posts, profiles, YouTube videos, LinkedIn pages, and more

  • Text displayed on the home page
Shows the full text directly on the guidebook home page, without requiring a click

  • Police form
Used to collect guest identity information
(see the dedicated police form tutorial)

  • Form
    Create custom forms for guests
    (see the form creation tutorial)

  • Video
Upload and display a video directly in the module, without using YouTube or Vimeo

Organizing modules

Modules can be:

  • reordered freely

  • moved between categories

  • updated at any time

Simply drag and drop them into the desired position.

⚠️ Don’t forget to save the module once you’re done.
Changes are applied immediately and reflected in the guidebook.
